Responsibilities:

At Kennedy Transportation we deliver mostly temperature-controlled, non-hazardous freight - perishables, food, etc, via reefer and dry van. OTR Truck Drivers will be responsible for the following:

• Safely Driving and Operating a Class 8 Truck
• Pre and Post Trip Inspections for Truck and Trailers
• Hooking and Unhooking Trailers
• Reviewing BOL’s and setting refer temperature appropriately
• Interacting with Customers Appropriately
• Fueling Truck and Refer Units (when necessary)
• Communicating with Dispatch
• Maintaining Proper Paperwork
• Effectively Using Electronic Logs (Qualcomm)
