We are actively seeking a Delivery Driver for our Springdale and Rogers stores. This position plays an integral role in Ashley Furniture HomeStore operations.

Summary:

This position is responsible for the delivery of goods to the customer's home and leads the delivery pair in the activity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Load Delivery Truck with items to be delivered to customers and leave the dock within one hour and fifteen minutes.
• Physically check the items against customer orders to verify all items are in the truck lane with the help of the Driver Assistant.
• Check lanes and walls to make sure bedrails, shelving, hardware and dining table tops are loaded on the truck.
• Report any delivery issues to dispatch and record information on delivery receipts.� List item number, Return Authorization number and any touch ups needed for the repair technicians.
• Upon arrival at customer's home notify customer of arrival while the Driver Assistant is preparing the merchandise to be unloaded.
• Wash delivery trucks every week.
• Keep delivery truck clean of any trash and take truck trash to the recycle dock daily.� Fold blankets and return any unused blankets to the Assembly/Driver Supervisor before leaving the dock.
• Complete the Truck Maintenance Log during the week for any truck repairs needed and turn into the Distribution Manager every Friday.
• Report any returned merchandise to the Inventory Supervisor. He/she will provide the RMA tags and assign the merchandise return personnel to assist off loading the merchandise to the proper locations.
• Assist with opening and assembly of merchandise in preparation for next day's delivery upon return to the Distribution Center when needed.
• Preload delivery truck for the following day's deliveries if time allows.
• Any other duties as assigned.
