Job Description

Total number of drivers needed is 8-10:
4-5 Full-time each location
1st peak Start: late April/early May (to start no later than 5/9) through beginning of June 1 month duration
2nd peak Start: middle August through September (end TBD based on weather 1 month)
TOP DRIVERS COULD STAY ON FOR THE DURATION through Sept
Both locations have class B needs
Larger need for Class B
Size of truck: 26 foot tandem axel GVWR This is for straight truck, the largest vehicle AG is a 51,000 pound straight truck
Client will provide: Gloves and Uniform Supplier/worker provided: Steel toed shoes required
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, this position is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering and selling XYZ and related products while balancing inventories and providing exceptional customer service. Essentially filling customer boxes (ice).
The ideal candidate will have experience in a distribution environment and possess a Class A or Class B license. Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations is required. This position requires an individual who is committed to superior customer service and possesses strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. The ability to react to a fast paced environment is required, in addition to excellent organization and time management skills, and basic math skills. In addition, the candidate must be physically able to carry out job duties, which includes lifting up to 50lbs, breaking down pallets and using a two-wheeler.
