Job Description
Night and Day Warehouse
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Night and Day Warehouse is required to fully support all food safety initiatives including, but not limited to, Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMPs).
Night Shift Responsibilities:
- Responsible for enabling HPC Foods to distribute inventory of various products to our delivery route system. Warehouse will pull orders either by volume or by account orders. Quality and quantity must be checked before completion
- Warehouse will also check pulled orders before loading products into designated trucks. Again checking for quality and quantity
- Warehouse must keep their sections clear and general clean up before end of shift
- Additional duties as necessary and assigned
Day Shift Responsibilities:
- Responsible for keeping the warehouse organized, orderly and clean by receiving all incoming products and storing them in their proper area, ensuring all items are in good condition and tagged appropriately
- Consolidate shipping loads for dispatch
- Inspect, log and rotate all finished products
- Unload all incoming shipments and check quantity, quality and temperature of each product
- Maintain all log sheets in accordance with company and food safety standards
- Conduct daily inspection of all forklifts and equipment and notify the appropriate party/person is follow up action is necessary
- Maintain high cleanliness standards by participating in periodic scrubbing down of floors, walls and drains
- Conduct periodic inventory of all supplies
- Additional duties as necessary and assigned
Night Shift:
- Sunday - Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday - Saturday
- 7:00 pm - 5:00 am
Day Shift:
- Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday - Saturday (5 day work week)
- 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
- Will schedule 5/days a week. Must be flexible (Driver's license required)
