OTR CDL Truck Driver (Delivery Transportation / Trucking)

Job Description MCT Transportation, LLC. (MCT) is a major motor carrier whose basic business involvement is that of an irregular truckload carrier specializing in the transportation of frozen and refrigerated food products. We are looking for an OTR CDL Truck Driver to join our growing delivery transportation team. You will haul freight primarily east of I-35, North of I-10, West of I-95, South of New York in our fleet of brand new 2013 tractors, all with APU's. OTR CDL Truck Driver (Delivery Transportation / Trucking) Job Responsibilities As an OTR CDL Truck Driver you will drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 80,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW); with no touch freight, no driver assist required.Additional responsibilities of the position include:

• Checking vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
• Maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned
• Collecting delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes
• Maintaining logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
