Grocery Outlet is a rapidly expanding extreme bargain retailer that supplies communities with trusted name-brand products without the name-brand prices. Class A-CDL Drivers support Grocery Outlet in our mission by transporting grocery and general merchandise along designated routes to our store locations in Oregon. Ideal candidates are safe and efficient commercial drivers that work as enthusiastic team players as they load, deliver, and unload undamaged goods. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections, immediately reporting any deficiencies, improper operation, faulty equipment, and/or unusual conditions
• Operate truck safely and sanely to deliver undamaged product to assigned stores
• Work as part of a cohesive team and be able to lift up to 50 pounds while loading and unloading products
• If disaster strikes, report all accidents involving driver or company equipment
• Communicate with customers and coworkers with respect, professionalism, and enthusiasm
• Comply with all company policies, along with Federal and State regulations, including maintaining records

Requirements:

• One year driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Valid Class A-CDL Driver’s License
• Understanding of Department of Transportation regulations
• Knowledge of basic math, as well as multi-step written and oral instructions
• Ability to write routine documents and speak clearly
• Positive attitude and flexibility when working with others
• Must pass drug and background check
